words for over 80 years. Tobin Properties had its humble beginnings in
Detroit, Michigan in the late 1920’s. Ben Tobin began a career in real
estate with “hands on management.” In the years to follow, he acquired
under performing properties that had not reached their true potential.
To him, this was opportunity knocking, and he rose to the challenge.
Through careful planning and hard work, he turned these properties
around and planted the seeds for a process of real estate development
and investment that has endured over the years.
Tobin Properties has distinguished itself in the industry by achieving

on the fundamentals of both real estate and business.
Tobin Properties’ 80 + years of entrepreneurial involvement in the real
estate business has resulted in a dynamic and diverse portfolio of
projects from skyscrapers to resorts and from a luxury condominium golf
community to grocery anchored shopping centers. Because of the extensive
experience of our management and staff, the company has superior
credentials to handle the most challenging real estate situations.
Today, Tobin Properties owns and manages over one and a half million
square feet of property throughout the Southeastern United States. We
are “value added” specialists. We buy real estate with “good bones” that
have experienced major tenant move outs, poor management, and/or
deferred maintenance. We embrace these projects from the inside out,
utilizing our experience and relationships to bring them back to life.
In addition to our retail properties, our pipeline includes medical
office condominiums, assisted living facilities, a luxury ocean front
estate homes community and mixed use developments. We also are actively
involved in commercial and residential brokerage and management.
